...but it's still a pretty good life.

I'm sitting in my back garden at home, and I've had what can only be described as a very eventful day. I was in Newtyle for 12pm, and we took the dog up the hills for a walk. We only got halfway up though, as for some reason the gates were barbed-wired shut. Mum and i then took the dog into a nearby field, but this particular field had a horse and 2 sheep in it, which was enough to convince mum that it was a really bad idea, so we left and headed back home.

Sounds simple? Well Lennox likes sticks. When i say sticks, i mean he likes to uproot trees and jump in every bit of river or pond he finds. As a result, mum and I were covered in mud and water from him "showing" us the muddy trees he was running off with, and from the water he kindly shared with us via Dogshake.

When we came back, mum phoned Elaine across the road to see if she could borrow her lawnmower - turns out her daughter Allana answered, and told us that she thinks her cat was about to give birth. We rushed over to find her cat taking refuge under Allana's bed, you could see her pushing already, but she hadn't delivered any kittens yet. About 30 mins later, she let out a big yowl and crawled towards Allana - the first one was on its way. I was absolutely amazed at the instincts of a cat while giving birth, and also the kittens for the way they just come out and can instantly look for food and seek shelter, miaowing the whole time. I stayed there for a few hours, and by the time I left she had delivered 3 kittens. They were quite worried as Allana's cat isn't even a year old yet, we didn't know if she would have the maternal instincts or not, but she was very good, cleaning the kittens properly and making sure they were safe. There were a lot of icky bits but you don't need to know about those. I SEEN A CAT GIVE BIRTH AND IT WAS AWESOME!! :D Hopefully once they have grown up a bit i will be able to take lots of photos of them :)

Business things should be happening soon, had a lot of advice and points in the right direction :)
